It's great to see the success of Dead Cells, and with the game already on Xbox Game Pass, and getting added to PS Now this month, it's only going to continue to grow. The art is beautiful, the gameplay is smooth, challenging, and rewards both practice and. The new 8-bit chiptune version of the music can be toggled on or off in the sound menu. Actually, it’s really funone of the best games I’ve played this year, in fact. As well as new gameplay content, theres also a whole new soundtrack available. The new soundtrack takes Dead Cells' already fantastic musical assortment and demakes it. Dead Cells is a rogue-lite, metroidvania inspired, action-platformer. The final new feature of this update, and one of the coolest, adds a brand new soundtrack to the game. The Barrel Launcher allows you to throw explosive barrels at your enemies, however, the patch notes warn " Just make sure they don't throw it back to you." The second new weapon is the Tesla Coil a "medium-range, multi-targeting, shock inflicting turret." The first focused around, you guessed it, more barrels. On top of the new area and enemies, Dead Cells gets a couple of new weapons. It merges with a headless body lying on the ground, after which a lady in armor tells you that you cant die and that things have gone quite pearshaped around on this island. The area is crawling with new enemies and different ways to take damage, all with a focus on these barrels. A clump of undetermined green mass drops from the ceiling. It's another beautiful biome within the game, looking exactly like an old distillery laden with giant barrels. The new area offers an alternative route to High Peak Castle from the collector area. Twelve of them are getting a Dead Cells-style makeover, including "Vampire Killer," "Bloody Tears" and "Divine Bloodlines.The first big addition is the new area - Derelict Distillery. On top of all that, the soundtrack features 51 original Castlevania tracks. Best tracks: Clock Tower, Slumbering Sanctuary, Hand of the King. You'll get to fight Death and Dracula as you make your way toward " Dead Cells’ most epic and ambitious boss battle yet," according to a press release. Bought it through Steam, never regreted it. This triple vinyl features several tracks from DLC expansions Rise of the Giant, The Bad Seed, Fatal Falls and The Queen and the Sea. The DLC includes two new biomes, including Dracula's Castle.
